The Sea buckthorn oil-The Superpower berry?

It didn’t take long into our testing phases to realize what we have on our hands. Before long we were referring to this oil simply as “THE SUPERPOWER”, and so it stuck.

It would be hard to describe this amazing oil in any other way, given its intensely rich nutritional profile, which includes vitamins A, B1, B2, C, D, E, K and P; carotenoids; flavonoids; amino acids; phenols; folic acid; organic acids; and 20 mineral elements, not to mention its essential fatty acid profile. It may be the only plant in the world to contain all four omegas: omega-3, omega-6, omega-7 and omega-9.

That’s one powerful healing cocktail.

This alone was enough for us to fight over it in the office but wait until you try it on your skin.

Sea buckthorn oil is extracted from the berries and seeds of the sea buckthorn plant Hippophae rhamnoides, and both the berries and seeds are great for skin and dietary supplementing. This beautiful oil known as “liquid gold” in Tibet, has a gorgeous deep reddish orange color and imparts a warm golden tone to the skin when applied topically. It is truly difficult to contain our enthusiasm and write in a concise and informative manner when it comes to this incredible antioxidant power house. Sea buckthorn has changed the way we think about natural skin care and raving about it comes naturally to everyone who has ever taken it on.

There is no magic or secret recipes, it’s best used in its purest form both internally and externally. Use a smaller dark color dropper bottle for an easier skin care dosage. Apply 2 drops of HoH sea buckthorn oil to cleansed skin gently padding or massaging. Use as a nighttime serum or a daily moisturizer, recommended for all skin types, particularly acne prone.

The bottle is designed to work double duty as skin care and a daily supplement. Our oils are bottled in their purest form, cold pressed from a single organic ingredient, therefore we recommend storing the bottle in your fridge to preserve and extend its shelf life.

The oil will impart a dark golden tone, that can enhance your summer glow, however it looks different on every skin tone. We encourage you to experiment but allow at least 10 min to penetrate before gently wiping away any residual color.

Sea buckthorn oil helps reduce many issues with skin like acne, dermatitis, dry skin, eczema, skin ulcers and stretch marks. Applied directly to the skin it can help prevent sunburn and provide sunburn relief, assist in healing wounds like bedsores and cuts. We love this healing balm and it holds a permanent place in our daily skin care regiment.

Did you know?

Because sea buckthorn oil is a potent source of omega-7s, it can help with adrenal fatigue. Removing foods that drain the body, such as caffeine, sugar and processed foods, and adding foods that heal the body like essential fatty acids. It’s time to get onboard.

How about a Sea buckthorn tea, a yummy addition to our sea buckthorn family, delicious and antioxidant rich.
