Dried fruit of juniper is used for meat-poultry, venison, mutton dishes and pulses. It can be used in vegetarian cooking and pickling.
Juniper has a wonderfully piney taste with citrus overtones (sometimes compared to rosemary).

Juniper Berry Soak: Add 1 cup of Epsom salt and 1 teaspoon of crashed HoH juniper berries to hot bath and soak. Perfect after a long day to help energize muscles. This soak is also fantastic if you have a cold. The juniper berry has anti-inflammatory properties and Epsom salts absorbed through the skin also work to relieve muscle tension. Add a teaspoon of HOH Organic Rosemary for additional muscle tension release.
